Product Care
All our handbags are handmade out of quality materials. See below how to take care of your Five Forty The Label bag.
LOVESTRUCK
Cotton fiber like all other natural fibers reacts to humidity, temperature, and pressure. This may result in visual alterations of the material which does not mean a loss in quality.
Should you notice any such changes, we recommend the following care routine to restore your velvet to its pristine condition:
Gentle Moisture Application
Take a soft, moistened linen cloth and gently press it against the affected area of the velvet. This will help rehydrate the fibers.
Careful Smoothing
Set your iron to a medium temperature. With the moistened cloth still in place, lightly glide the iron over the velvet in smooth, even strokes. This delicate process will help the fabric regain its original luster.
Rest and Recovery
Once treated, place your Lovestruck Mini Bag in a cool, dry area, allowing the velvet to naturally recover for 1 to 2 hours.
Important: Avoid exposing the fabric to direct sunlight during this process, as it may lead to color fading.
Your Leather Bag
Crafted from 100% Italian leather and natural cotton, our handbags are designed to embody luxury and timeless elegance. To ensure your bag remains soft, supple, and beautiful, here are a few essential care tips.
Cleaning
Gently clean your handbag using a soft, slightly damp cloth. If your bag becomes wet, promptly remove any excess water and allow it to dry naturally, avoiding direct sunlight and heat sources.
Maintenance
To preserve the luxurious quality of your leather, we recommend applying leather milk two to three times a year. This will nourish the leather, restoring its moisture and enhancing its natural beauty.
Storage
When not in use, store your handbag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. For added protection, use the provided dust bag during storage and travel to keep your handbag in pristine condition.
Le Friulane
All our Friulane are made by hand in the northern region of Italy. They can be worn all year round.
To keep your beloved Friulane clean, we recommend washing stains away with a soft-bristled brush, a dab of water, and natural hand soap. Once dried – please do not expose them to direct sunlight as this may cause discoloration of the material – comb the velvet in the opposite direction and back to make them look like new.
Please be aware, that the pair of Friulane you receive may be slightly smushed or have visual alterations in its material which does not mean a loss in quality. After wearing them a few times they perfectly adapt to your feet. For a long-lasting form, we recommend storing them with shoe trees.
